Who is PrepProtect?

PrepProtect is one of the products offered by The Protection Store. PrepProtect was developed by a seasoned businessman who saw a need to provide protection assurance to students and families in multiple areas of their lives. The founder is also a father of three teen aged daughters who is concerned about their well being when away from home. He also understood that teens enjoy having fun and saving money. Therefore, PrepProtect combines the best of class products to provide the ulitimate in peace of mind and discount savings for students and families, nationwide.

What number do I call for information about the products associated within the PrepProtect program?
For information about the products associated with the PrepProtect program please call 1.800.800.7616.  Just stay on the line and wait for a customer service representative.  Explain that you have questions about the products associated with the PrepProtect program and specify which product question you have.

What number do I call if I am already a PrepProtect customer?
Numbers for the respective services provided by PrepProtect will be provided on the back of your PrepProtect member card.  Note:  It is important to call and register with LifeLock and TelaDocTM as soon as you receive your PrepProtect membership kit.

How long does it take to receive my package?
It usually takes up to 14 business days to receive your membership credentials. All packages are sent via United States Postal Service First Class service and contain your membership booklet and personalized cards.

Can I cancel my membership for any reason?
Your membership is subject to our No Questions Asked refund policy. Simply cancel within the first 30 days and you will receive a full refund of all fees paid. After the first 30 days, you can cancel at any time and you will not be charged again. Simply call the Help Desk number on the back of your membership card.

Can I be denied membership due to existing conditions?
Absolutely not. Everyone is able to join our discount plans regardless of their current or past medical or financial condition.

Is this a replacement for my insurance?
Our membership plans are NOT INSURANCE and are not meant to replace any form of insurance coverage.

Can I add additional people to my membership?
You can use our add a spouse or dependent at time of checkout. Each dependent card requested will result in a one-time printing charge of $2.50 in addition to the price of your benefit purchase.

Where can I see a list of participating providers?
You can visit http://www.locateproviders.com and use your group number to locate and research providers participating in our programs.

How do I sign up additional family members?
With PrepProtect all family members can participate in all programs, with one exception, LifeLock.  To sign up additional family members for LifeLock please visit www.lifelock.com.  Be sure that all family members above the age of ten call TelaDocTM to provide the appropriate information.  And, remember to always provide your member number and client number when calling customer service.

No. Designed to assist with the student environment, PrepProtect has now been extended to all consumers.

Yes.  Your credit card will be billed monthly.

No.  This program provides coverage as long as you are a paid in full member.

May I pick and choose the programs that I want?
The PrepProtect program was designed to provide the best coverage possible for consumers and does not allow for the changing or swapping of products within the PrepProtect program.

Does Lifelock provide a total service guarantee?
You are covered by the $1 Million Total Service Guarantee once you register with PrepProtect and call to enroll with LifeLock.  If you need to activate the Guarantee, you must notify LifeLock within thirty (30) days of the date you know, or reasonably should have known, that you are a victim of identity theft.  Details are provided in the PrepProtect member booklet.

Is the Roadside Assistance Program available 24 hours a day and seven days a week?
Yes.  With the PrepProtect roadside assistance program you have access to over 45,000 service vehicles in our network, we are quick to respond to your client's needs.

Is there a limit on the number of discount movie tickets that I can obtain?
There is a limit of 15 tickets that can be ordered at one time for one order form.  Tickets are valid for at least twelve months from the time of purchase.

Are there any forms to fill out when I use the Discount Pharmacy service?
Absolutely not.  This may be one of the easiest discount programs ever invented.  You must, however, present your PrepProtect card for the pharmacist to procure the BIN number for reporting and discount purposes.
