TelaDoc^TM is a national network of state licensed primary care physicians providing cross coverage consultations 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Consulting physicians diagnose routine, non-emergency individual medical problems, recommend treatment and prescribe short-term, non-DEA controlled, medication (when appropriate) over the telephone. Members can access this service wherever they happen to be: home, office, hotel room, or vacation campsite. Members simply make a phone call and, in most cases, speak to a doctor within three hours.
